Sticks and String 2026 will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn. Located directly off I-35/80 (Exit 129), the location has a lot to offer all in attendance--a full-service facility, plus several nearby dining options. The event room also has abundant natural light through the windows along the south wall.

We have secured a special rate for Sticks and String attendees of $112/night, and 2 queen beds are guaranteed. However, if you wish, you may request 1 king bed. To accommodate those who need to arrive early or stay late, the rate applies to the nights of February 26 through March 1.

There are a limited number of rooms available at this rate -- be sure to get your room early! There is no guarantee of availability after the cutoff date of February 7, 2026.

1.  Click on the words "Visit the Booking Page" in the Room & Rates section.
2.  In the section Edit Stay, enter the number of nights and number of guests and then click Update.
   Then click the preferred arrival date on the calendar (the checkout date will automatically be selected.
3. This will take you to the page to select the preferred room type.
4. This will take you to the Payment & Guest Details page. Fill out the rest of the form as normal and book the reservation.

 

An alternative is to call the hotel directly at 515-270-8890 and make their reservations with the front desk.  Make sure you use the DSMKNI code. This code is automatically filled in when reserving a room online.
